We are the oldest Customs House Brokers still in operation in the New York area.
Owner, John McCarty is the 3rd generation of McCarty's to run Dingelstedt & Co., making his daughter Debbie Tole the 4th generation. Back in 1903, John's grandfather, Anthony McCarty took over the Dingelstedt & Co. copartnership after Adolf Dinglestedt's widow, Magdalena, passed on. After 140 years in New York City, the office moved to Elizabeth, NJ for 13 years and then to their current location in Chatham, NJ.
